A couple’s shared finances in Markdown: Thiago Diniz lets Claude transcribe the receipts and the spltty CLI do the math
Thiago DinizIndividual · Personal and household finance (Brazil)
Developer Thiago Diniz keeps the money he shares with his wife in plain Markdown ledgers: Claude reads statements, screenshots and Pix receipts, and spltty, an MIT-licensed Ruby CLI he built with Claude, writes every row and computes who owes whom. First-hand case with figures stated by the author, including a token and cost benchmark; we ran the CLI and its tests on fictional data.
