What data we process
- Browsing: our hosting provider (Vercel) logs technical data about requests, such as the IP address, the browser and the page requested, in order to serve the site and keep it secure.
- Analytics: we use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to measure visits and performance in aggregate.According to Vercel’s documentation, Web Analytics does not use cookies: it identifies visits with a value derived from the request that is reset daily.
- Entry submissions and business inquiries: the “Submit” and sponsorship forms have no server: they prepare a message that you send yourself from your email or from GitHub. We only receive what you decide to send. If you open an issue on GitHub, GitHub’s terms and privacy policy apply.
Cookies
We do not set any first-party cookies. If we add services that need them in the future, we will ask for your consent first.
When the sponsorship bar is shown, your choice to close it is remembered for 7 days in your browser’s local storage (localStorage, key af-sponsor-bar-dismissed, just a timestamp) and the rotation order in another key (af-sponsor-bar-k, a number). We use sessionStorage to avoid sending the same sponsorship-view analytics event more than once per visit. These are browser preferences and counters: they are not sent to anyone and are not used to track you.
External and sponsored links
Entries link to third-party sources. We do not control their content or how they process data. External links open with noopener noreferrer. Sponsored links are labeled “Sponsored”, carry rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" and add UTM parameters (utm_source=agentsfinance.io) so the sponsor can attribute visits. When you click, the sponsor’s site receives your visit and its own privacy policy applies. We do not sell data and do not use third-party ad networks. More in theadvertising policy.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability of your personal data, and lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD at aepd.es). Write to us at [email protected].
